Our 2025 Wrapped

When we look back on 2025, one word comes to mind: gratitude.

In July, we took a leap of faith and launched Your Derbyshire magazine - created to celebrate the beauty, creativity and character of the county we’re lucky enough to call home. As former colleagues who once worked together on another magazine, this project began as an idea over lunch: we saw a gap in the market for an aesthetics-led, coffee-table style publication that shone a thoughtful light on Derbyshire.

Six months on, we’re still a little in awe of how warmly the magazine has been received.

Since launch, we’ve distributed over 500 copies, and Your Derbyshire is now proudly stocked in a growing number of fabulous independent shops across the county - find a list of our stockists here - spaces that reflect the same care, creativity and community spirit we hoped the magazine would embody. Seeing the magazine out in the world, picked up and enjoyed, has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey.

We’ve also had the privilege of working with so many talented creatives, from photographers and writers to stylists, makers and small business owners, each bringing their own perspective and passion to the pages. Your Derbyshire has always been about collaboration, and every issue is richer because of the people involved.

Most of all, we’re grateful to everyone who bought a copy, stocked the magazine, shared it with a friend, or simply sent a kind message of encouragement. Launching a new print magazine in 2025 felt bold (some might say brave!), but the support we’ve received has reaffirmed why we started.

As we look ahead to 2026, we’re excited to keep telling Derbyshire’s stories, championing local talent, and creating something beautiful and meaningful, one season at a time. With some extras up our sleeves too…
