Flowers in all their forms take centre stage in The Gorgeous Nothings: Flowers at Chatsworth, the 2025 exhibition in the house and garden. The exhibition features both historical and contemporary works of art from the Devonshire Collections, and is supported by key loans from national and international museums, and new artist commissions.

Expect a drink on arrival, canapes in the garden followed by two courses to be served at your table which will be nestled under the canopy of the Electric Daisy garden pergola, in a communal dining setup. Here, you'll also have the option of selecting from an exceptional wine menu from local wine makers, The English Wine Project.
There will be live music throughout the evening, the bar will be open and hopefully some thought-provoking conversation about the journey of our food, its origins and its impact on both people and the planet.

Forage & Feast, Elvaston Castle
Hosted by Cherry Pickle Catering, the Spring ‘Forage and Feast’ event consists of a three hour walk around Elvaston Castle with professional forager ‘Peak Forager’, followed by a sit down tasting menu catered by Cherry Pickle Catering, held at Elvaston Village Hall.

Ashbourne Royal Shrovetide Football
Unlike a conventional football match, Shrovetide Football is much longer than a regular football match and is played over two eight-hour periods. The goals are three miles apart and there are very few rules. The ball is rarely kicked but instead moves through a giant 'hug'. There is no set pitch: the game is played throughout the entire town, so shops and businesses board up their windows in preparation!
