Alpaca Trekking with Brackenfield Farm (£5 per go – kids under 8 must be supervised)
Get up close to the weird and wonderful creatures from Fudge and Co
Meet the animals at the Happy Hooves mobile mini farm, including goats, sheep and smaller fluffies
Pony Rides by Unicorn Pony Parties (£7, ages 2–13)
Learn all about domestic birds and parrots from Parrots in Need
Meet the Guide Dogs in training with demonstrations at selected times
Feed the fish at Denby Koi Ponds (£1 per feed)
Try your luck at the traditional games’ stalls, including Tin Can Alley, Splat the rat and Hook a Duck with prizes to be won (£1.50 for 3 tries)
Face painting throughout the day (£5 per child)
Call into the Denby Craft Studio for pottery painting fun, subject to availability (Prices start from £8.50 to paint)
Take a peek inside our Denby Museum (£2 entry)
Free play with trains and games from BRIO
Woodwork fun in the gardens with Swanwick Men’s Shed
Take a photo on the giant deckchair and tag #denbypotteryvillage
Choir performance from Grand Central Chorus at selected times
Plus, support local charities and take a chance on their raffles and tombolas with prizes to be won.
There will also be a selection of local makers and bakers with lovely stalls to browse including jams, cheese, Indian snacks & curry, brownies, cupcakes, doughnuts, artwork, gluggle jugs and candles as well as whippy ice cream.
Food & drink:
Grab something tasty for lunch from the Greedy Pig Butchers BBQ
Pick up refreshments and cream teas from Bourne’s takeaway
Bourne’s Coffee Shop & Bistro and the Farm Shop Café will be open as usual serving hot dishes, jacket potatoes, vegetarian options, freshly prepared sandwiches and a selection of cakes and drinks.

Whilst you're enjoying the Pottery Village Fête, visit the Denby Garden Stall for your outdoor plants, the Greedy Pig Butchers for quality, locally sourced meats and if you’re a koi keeper, don’t miss out on a visit to Denby Koi Ponds.
Top up your Denby collections during our Summer Sale (with amazing discounts on selected ranges and items) and see our new ceramics and cookware ranges. Food tastings will also be happening throughout the day in the Farm Shop from Popcorn Kitchen.
